Bluebook & Logistics Brief

As an international student your only accepted ID at a foreign test centre is a valid passport whose name matches your admission ticket — get this wrong and you're turned away at the door. Logistics aren't glamorous, but a dead battery or a name mismatch ends a test before it starts. This brief is your one-stop checklist.

#REGISTRATION (international = same dates as US)

#ID — INTERNATIONAL (critical, get this exactly right)

• Testing outside your home country → only a valid passport is accepted (sole exception: US DoD CAC). School IDs are not valid in this case.
• Name on the passport must exactly match the admission ticket. A nickname vs legal name mismatch can mean refusal.
• ID must be physical, unexpired, with a recognisable photo. No digital IDs. Keep it on you all day (including the break).
• Some countries have specific accepted IDs — confirm yours on the College Board ID-requirements page well before the date.
• Action now: confirm your passport is valid through the test date.

#DEVICE & BLUEBOOK

• Bring your own fully charged laptop/tablet with Bluebook installed + updated.
• Pack your charger / a power bank — outlets are not guaranteed; a dead battery mid-test is the classic avoidable disaster.
• 1–5 days before: open Bluebook, sign in, complete exam setup → generates your admission ticket (print it or email it to yourself) and pre-downloads the test.
• Run the device readiness check beforehand.

#WHAT TO BRING (checklist)

• Read the Battle Card once, then execute.
